ACTIONS ON ETHICS
Ethics have been a part of the day-to-day routine of the Bradesco since its foundation. Foreseeing this matter as a competitive strength of the company, the Bank’s Internal Standards was established in 1944.
In the early 1970s, the Declaration of Principles was also established, affirming the commitment to the matter, on the part of the employees who assumed a leadership position. This Declaration, in general terms, contemplated the basic principles of ethical conduct, not only at the workplace but also in the private life.
The essence of these principles gave birth to the Code of Ethical Conduct of the Bradesco Organization, approved in 2003 by the Board of Directors, which approved its last amendment, occurred on 6.29.2015.
This matter has deserved the spotlight and today is a premise of Corporate Governance and Sustainability in the Organization’s relationships.
The Ethical Conduct Committee, whose members are appointed by the Board of Directors of Banco Bradesco S.A., is the body responsible for applying the Codes of Ethical Conduct, establishing actions for its disclosure and enforcement.
The effective dissemination of the Code of Ethical Conduct is complemented by several awareness and training actions, among which we highlight the interactive multimedia courses (TreiNet), the introduction of the theme in curriculum of the management training courses and other courses, and other internal marketing resources.
The following actions are scheduled for 2017:
- Review of the Bradesco Organization’s Corporate Code of Ethical Conduct.
- Internal marketing on Ethics.
- Continuous insertion of the theme Ethics in cycles of lectures, within managerial training courses and other courses.
